About StepBloom
StepBloom helps you record steps you actually walked but your iPhone did not count — for example, when you left your phone on a desk during a walk, or pushed a stroller or shopping cart while holding the handle. You add those steps to Apple Health in one tap.
StepBloom does not require an account, and logging works offline. The free version shows ads; StepBloom PRO removes them and unlocks extra presets.
Getting started
1. Allow Apple Health access. The first time you log steps, iOS asks for permission. Turn on Steps and Walking + Running Distance so StepBloom can save your entries and show your totals.
2. Log a walk. On the Home tab, tap a walk preset (such as 2 km or 5 km) or a quick step amount (such as 1,000 or 3,000 steps), or enter a custom amount.
3. Pick the time. Choose when your walk ended and how long it lasted (10 minutes, 1 hour, or 3 hours). StepBloom spreads the steps across that time in Apple Health.
4. Track your progress. The Stats tab shows your daily goal ring, streak, and weekly chart. You can change your daily goal in the Settings tab.
Frequently asked questions
My steps don’t show up in another app. StepBloom writes to Apple Health only. Each app reads Apple Health on its own schedule and decides for itself which data sources it counts. In the Health app, go to Steps › Data Sources & Access and check that StepBloom is allowed. Wait a while for the other app to sync before adding the same steps again.
I denied Health access by mistake. Open the Health app, tap your profile picture, then Apps › StepBloom, and turn on Steps and Walking + Running Distance.
How do I delete steps I added? In the Health app, go to Steps › Show All Data, find the entries from StepBloom, and swipe left to delete them.
Do I need an internet connection? No. Logging steps works offline. Ads and purchases need a connection.
Why do I see ads? Ads keep StepBloom free. In the free version, some logging options ask you to watch a short video first. StepBloom PRO removes all ads.
Is StepBloom a medical device? No. StepBloom is a personal logging tool and does not provide medical advice.
StepBloom PRO
PRO removes all ads, unlocks the 10 km, 12 km, and 10,000-step presets, and lets you log without watching videos.
Plans (U.S. prices): Weekly $0.99, Monthly $1.99, Yearly $9.99, or Lifetime $9.99 (one-time purchase). Prices in your country are shown in the app before you buy.
Restore purchases: Settings tab › Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple ID you bought PRO with.
Cancel a subscription: iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions › StepBloom › Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid the next charge. You keep PRO until the end of the period you paid for.
