Privacy Policy

Summary

Landlord Log (“the app”) is published by Chore Coach LLC, doing business as Lindon Digital (“we”, “us”). The app helps rental property owners keep a record of business miles and time spent on their rentals.

Everything you record in Landlord Log is stored on your iPhone. We do not run a server for your data, we do not have accounts, and we do not collect, receive, sell, or share your trips, hours, addresses, or photos. The app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics.

What the app uses and why

Location (Always). To record your drives while you are working, and to notice when you arrive at a rental address you added, even when the app is closed. GPS runs only while you are working; otherwise the app uses low-power region monitoring around your rental addresses. Location data is stored only on your iPhone.

Calendar (optional). To read appointment titles and addresses so a matching trip can be labeled automatically. Only the matched title is saved, on your iPhone. The app never changes your calendar.

Camera and Photos (optional). To attach receipts, work photos, and odometer photos as evidence. Photos you choose are copied into the app’s storage on your iPhone.

Notifications. To remind you to start work when you arrive at a rental and to confirm trips. Notifications are created on your iPhone only; we do not send push notifications.

Each permission is requested only when the related feature is used, and you can change it at any time in iPhone Settings › Landlord Log.

Address lookups

When you type an address, or when the app labels a trip, Landlord Log uses Apple’s built-in map services to convert between street addresses and coordinates. Those requests are handled by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy. We do not receive them.

Backups and exports

If you use iCloud Backup, your iPhone may include the app’s data in your personal backup, stored under your Apple Account by Apple. When you export a CSV file, you choose where to send it — for example, to your tax professional. We never see your exports.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise or approximate location, contacts, browsing history, identifiers, or usage data. We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Children

Landlord Log is meant for adults who own or manage rental property. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Data retention, security, and deletion

Your records stay on your iPhone, protected by iOS security, until you delete them. Delete any trip or entry inside the app, or delete the app to remove all of its data from your iPhone.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the California Consumer Privacy Act or the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. Because we do not collect or hold personal information, your data is fully under your control in the app. If you have a question or request, contact us and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles information — for example, by adding advertising or optional paid features — we will update this page and the effective date above before the change reaches the app.
